I was given reference names of others who bought yorkies from them and all had only good things to say. I made the decision to purchase my baby. As anxious as I was to get her, they would not ship her to me until she reached a certain weight as they were concerned about her health and safety. When I finally received my baby, she was exactly as promised. I had her vet checked within a few days and was told she was very healthy, well cared for and surely came from a great breeder. I have recommended Beaufords to friends. A year after I got mine, a friend from here in FL, bought her yorkie from Beaufords...in fact, they have the same daddy. I would buy another yorkie from this breeder in a heart beat! Dawn from Winter Haven, FL. |
Posts such as yours make me want to conk my head on a wall. Big deal that the breeder wouldn't ship before the dog reached a certain weight, even a miller doesn't want the dogs to die during transport. Unless you have visited the place in person, you have no idea how they keep their dogs. Why would you recommend a breeder when you have no idea how the the breeding dogs are kept, this is the sort of thing that enables puppy mills to continue.
