Seriously? Why would you advocate holding off on getting a dog treatment while they try to set up insurance? If the dog is sick, it needs to be seen. Also, because she does have a history of taking the dog to the vet for this, even if there isn't a definitive diagnosis, then it would be considered a preexisting condition and not be covered under a new plan.
You do it on-line. It doesn't take very long. I wasn't "advocating" she put off going and seeing a vet ASAP. It take only a matter of minutes to get yourself some pet insurance coverage. Anyway, I didn't think about the fact that she had already taken her dog to the vet and that it's already in her dogs medical history. So, you are right, it is too late now. Go the the vet.
