i would like to know why the op did not seek out his new owner if that was her intention. Did she not know he had been sold not once but twice? Should she have? How many champion pups has she produced? Does she know where they all end up?
I can tell you that i own a bitch with durrer lines and rothby lines.
how far back?
should i be contacting up the chain?
depends on how far back.
how did i end up with one???
you tell me.
How are they in my pedigrees?
they're in mine, too, so what?
somewhere down the line it happened and i got a bitch with full registration. I also had a male with many champions in his lines, champion grand sired and granddam...how did i get him full registration?
again, you tell me -- and what lines are they -- and were you suppose to have him -- or did he come in the backdoor too?
i own a male and female that are champion sired and i purchased both with no strings attached. How?
do tell!
What about the person who now owns marshall, how did she obtain all those dogs with nice pedigrees?
the same way you are?
how about her champion sired one?
i'd rather not say...
durrer seems to be the foundation of many, many lines - really not a big deal anymore - especially because they're so far back. Having ch lines in your pedigree isn't what's being talked about here. having the champion is. I have 2 dogs with a pedigree full of ch's behind them - they were petted out - as it should be. If they were in any way showable - they wouldn't have been sold. You continue to bring up ch's being in the pedigree but like i said earlier it is not the same as having the champion dog! and if all of this selling with full registration is going on - it does't surprise me - but it does sadden and anger me. What's really lost? honor & integrity... Remember that?
happens every day and not with just "back door" purchases. I do not buy that at all. How many other people have nice lines in their pets or breeding dogs and they did not buy them from the original kennel. No one can tell me this is isolated nor can they say it is all from "backdoor" purchases.
