That's the whole premise behind the lawsuit right now against Wellness...
From the complaint: “Defendants have been knowingly and systematically defrauding hundreds of thousands of California consumers by marketing their dry pet food products by falsely representing that the products: (1) contain no animal by-products; (2) are “human grade”; (3) “are the same quality you would feed to your own family.” These claims are manifestly false and misleading.”
Is there really a right for a pet food company to say "human grade"...

To clarify what I meant above...I just expect that my dogs food is going to have ground bone in it and such (listed on the label). It does not shock me to see little hairs or something. I have see it in every dog kibble I hav ever bought and I have tried all the high end brands. I want the best for my pups.
Look at our chicken in the stores. There is always a missed feather in the roaster chickens or skin on chicken parts.
I expect to see the same in my pet's food. Not good but it is how it is.
