I groom all 3 of my Yorkies myself. I have read too many stories on here where a groomer ruins the Yorkie's hair. A lot of times a groomer will claim that there was too many matted areas so they HAD to clip them short. Mine get brushed/ combed daily so I know they are not matted, The one and only time I took one of mine to the groomers, I only had Jeter at the time and I was lucky they did a good job. But I figured that I could save money if I started to do myself. I paid almost $70 for them to trim up Jeter and he is only 2 1/2 pounds
It was not like he was a giant fuzzy St Barnard!
