Breed points are different than championship points. Breed points are used to determine the dogs ranking within the breed...this is how the top ten yorkies for the year are determined and the reason that dogs are specialed. Champioship points are the points awarded to winners dog and winners bitch within the breed. As for getting a major for going group 1, never heard of it so I found that very interesting.
