Great advise. I was going through something similar with one of my puppies a couple weeks ago. I knew that I had to hang on to the end and see it through. He just had too much life in him. One day he just told me that it was time and I took him in. You will know. You will feel it in your heart. I wish you all the best of luck and I am continuing to pray for you and your baby.
About how fast the lasix should start working. I only know about humans in this area and it works the same day usually. I would give the vet another call. Be on the safe side with this little one.
