At any rate, none currently exists under either standard, so an off-color dog cannot be disqualified. No AKC judge can DQ a dog until the standard takes effect on and after October 1. No dog may be DQ'd for color under the UKC standard.

The Executive Vice President is correct. However, the DQ has been published in the AKC Gazette and on the YTCA Yorkie Express.
