Tammy, you're not too old to go to college! One of my classmates was much older than you and even had a daughter in the same college. Everyone needs to feel accomplishment somehow or have their own activities. Just figure out what you would like to learn more about.
There are some great community colleges that offer two year degrees. After that you could work two more years toward a four year degree if you wish. By the time you've graduated the kids will be in school and if you want to get a part time job or something you will have a skill!
Whatever you decide, try to do something that you'll look forward to!
