are you gently brushing? you might try talking in a soothing voice and brushing slowly. mine all love the brush time. there are plenty of kisses and hugs that go with a brushing. we look each other in the face and smile real big.
when your starts fighing it stop brushing and just rub the chest and belly. then when she calms down start with the brush slowly. gentle strokes. begin with the ends and work to the skin. I use the cc brush the gold series. it massages rather than scratch the skin. I would never use anything else again. when they were babies I used a cat brush on them so as not to make them afraid of a brush.
