There are exceptions, however, there have a few posts on YT where a child has left a door open and the yorkie has been lost, or a child has dropped a puppy. Accidents can happen even with adults, but the law averages lean toward those with small children. There was an incident I read about on another list, where 2 children were sitting on the floor with the yorkie puppy (parent there with them). One decided to pick the puppy up and the other one decided it wanted the puppy grabbed for it and the original child went to pull back and the puppy went flying against the wall. Puppy as you can well imagine died.
