The scale was the only thing that gave me any piece of mind
I was able to actually see she was getting enough milk. For the first two weeks I weighed her twice a day. Now I am down to once a day... now that she is weaning from mom (six weeks) I am keeping a closer eye because she has gone to puppy food. I am so glad she is doing well. Scout weighed 2.8 oz on day one and she gained on average a little less then 1/2 an oz a day. Sometimes a little more... sometimes a little less.
