We have sold AKC dogs for about thirty five years. There have been many, many times that AKC has been extrememly slow or even lost our paperwork AND our money. What we do if we don't get our papers in a timely manner is call AKC and ask where they are. of course in your situation, you would need to know parents numbers or you can also call customer service and give them the breeders name and birthdate of the litter and ask if she has registered them or is having a problem with the papers. We have done this also. heck, we have called AKC so many times, we are on a first name basis with most of the customer service and registration people. I registered two puppies of my own and my last litter all at the same time about three weeks ago. I have gotten the puppy papers back already but not my litter papers. |
