The femur bone is the leg bone from the beef, and sold as soup bones. They are round bones cut anywhere from 1 inch to a couple inches thick. A butcher at any butcher shop will cut them if they don't have them out. Most grocery stores carry them or if you don't see them then ask the butcher to cut some for you. Some grocrey store don't cut these meats any more due to accidents. Just keep looking. When I buy them, I stock up and freeze. |
The ones that I buy are all natural, no smoke flavoring or anything. Just dried. The dogs like them just like they are.
