The baby.... that happened about 15 min. from my house. It was horrible.... Beyond tragic. Thank God they found the baby. However, the dogs were just a ploy to get to know the woman so she could take her baby. Built up a friendship with her, knew her due date, everything. When she came to the house, they had a meeting planned, so she wasn't afraid. She was home alone because she "knew" this buyer.

That being said, I have 5 children. We live in the country. If someone shows up here unannounced, they will be looking down the barrel of a shotgun. And no, I'm not joking. Unless they have very valid reasons for being here. I'm not going to take chances any more. Neither is my dh. We've discussed this at length. Nobody will be allowed a visit unless he is here. We will not meet anybody unless he is there. We just have to for OUR protection.

And, I am so sorry, but I can't remember your name... whoever it was that posted that she has the security cameras and all... I say SMART MOVE!!!! We will be doing the same. Not just because of my dogs, but for our own well being.
