LOL. I always wondered that too. I think the first bottom band is for the initial ponytail and the top band is to secure the actual top knot. I cut the second band off because my girl's hair is not long enough for a true top knot. I also cut it off because I usually have an initial rubber band on her head that helps secure the hair and then place the actual bow band on top of that. Thus, the second rubber band on the actual bow is useless to me. |
