I am thinking that it is this way with just about any business. If a person owns a store, they take a risk with being robbed every day. They have to guard against shop lifting and thieves after the money till. Maybe in the past home-based businesses enjoyed a feeling of safety -- but it is just becoming more and more obvious they are taking the same risks a store owner does. Any time you deal with the public the danger is there.
I like the idea of the video recorders -- without that recording, the robbery would never have gotten so much "press" and the one thief would not have been scared enough to turn himself in. |
