My 6mo old is paper trained. I tried to get him to use pee pads and he FREAKED out and he SHREDDED the pee pad =(

I want to switch from news paper to pee pads because the news paper definately does not absorb much. Any tips and tricks to get him accustomed to a pee pad and not freak out at it?

Also, when the weather is much nicer, i am hoping that i can train him to go outside.
