Fred is 6 months and he's still having potty issues. He knows when he does something bad, though. It might be harder for you because you got him at a later age. From what I heard, the older they get the harder they are to train. and in addition, you got him from a pet store which might have added on to the difficulty.
But, that doesn't mean you should give up.
I am really persistant with Fred and I think he's catching on. I can see the progess. We don't take him outside but instead use peepee pads like you do.
You just have to be patient. Like Eensor said, they don't catch on RIGHT away! |
