That's too bad that didn't work out for you. I love my denim carrier, but again the styles are different. Even though they're the same size I think the denim one's more flexible which is probably why it doesn't feel that bulky for me.
Here are some more carriers you can check out. They're all available on Target's web site and are between $24.99 and $39.99. I think the brown one with the grommets is the most discreet, but the others have more pockets.
