I just left her....and I feel a little better about it....I forgot how much I do like my vet.....he's great.....and he wasn't even bothered by my tears....he even gave me a wad of tissues.....he told me he will pre sedate her.....(something to do with her stomach) and he said he will shave her little belly.....he told me he uses very fine stitches.....and they will be removed in 10 days.....he said she will have 2 layers of disolving stitches internally.....he also said he wasn't terribly concerned with her licking the external he said he's not that concerned with her removing them either...but he has rarely seen it happen....he also told me he will not release her to me today until she's up and walking....which made me feel A LOT better too....I left her with my/her sock that she likes chewing on so she can smell mommy....he didn't wanna put the onesie on her he told me to wait and see what happens it might not be necessary.....so that's it for now until I get the phone call that it's all over.....oh he's also putting her on antibiotics.....and giving me an emergency number in case of anything tonight.....but he told me she will be fine.....so now I WAIT!!! (sigh) |
