She is 14 weeks old. I was free feeding then decided that is not helping the potty training situation. So my vet suggestion morning and evening feeding. So that is what I plan to do. Now mind you I just started this today.
It is now 3:15 pm and she is yet to do any business outside and she has not soiled her kennel yet either. I do not have food or water in the kennel. I did try to feed her some lunch earlier when we were outside but she didn't eat anything only drank a bit of water. She has whine a couple times in the kennel this afternoon. I let her outside so we can go "potty" but nothing. She just wants to play. She is playing with her toys in her kennel but she wants to play with us and we want to play with her too.
I have read that this is how you teach them to go outside, I just feel so bad. Cause so far it is not working for me. If she doesn't go to the bathroom by about 5 I will just put her panies on her and let her play a bit. I feel so bad.
Anybody have any suggestions?? Am I doing the crate thing right? I am going from information I got from the vet and from a crate training website.
