no you did not miss read this. we have a court case going on right now where they caught two people from peta who went to the aspca and advised them they had homes for them. then they will kill them and dump them in dumpsters in north carolina. the ceo denied knowledge of this but they have found now it has happened in 10 states.
one of their regional offices is here in norfolk and there are alot of employees of PETA here. they ck you out, which is fine, to make sure you don't have more than the state requirment of dogs in the home (4). if you do have more than 4, you are fined 10k for each dog over this.
