Ive taken Remy once to the Petco, which was his first grooming. I took him there to get his nails trimmed first and saw the guy did a fantastic job, with great care, so I took a chance and had him groomed there few months later.
They couldnt fully groom him because he was still a baby and scared, but they did manage to cut the hair around his face, bathe, and even put a bow on his head. i didnt care for the bow, seeing he is a boy
, but i think they did a pretty good job.
I think it just depends on which store you go to. Take a look at the employees, you can usually tell if they're experienced. But i've too heard that the independent groomers are among the best, however, it only cost me $25 to groom (w/bathe & nail trim) my baby at Petco.
