My Lex is 9 1/2 lbs. You can see he is big but you wouldn't guess that much. The vet told me he has heavy bones...whatever. How much do you feed him a day. I feed Lex 1 cup a day. That is more than enough for him and he tends to leave some behind. Not all yorkies are standard or tiny. AKC says standard is like 6-7 pounds. Yorkies sizes can't be guaranteed. They were a bit bigger doggies way back when and the breed has been downsized some. There are a lot of other folks on here with teapot yorkies. Matter of fact there is a little group of yt folks on dogster that belong to a group of bigger yorkies.
