Permethrin is used in a cream for scabies. It is prescibed in the ER all the time. As a matter of fact I have a tube of it in my medicne cabinet at home-we all do (dr's and nurses in the ER) for "just in case". It says "thoroughly massage Permethrin cream , 5% into the skin form the head to the soles of the feet, ONE APPLICATION IS GENERALLY CURATIVE." People put this on their kids. I have put it on an area on my hand once that I thought could be scabies, and I had a terrible reaction to it. Thanks for the info. I am using advantage on Hannah right now but when I run out I was planning on switching to Revolution.
