It won't break his heart. As long as you don't push him to the side because of a new one you should be fine. We have lots of love to give and it's nice for them to have a playmate. I do suggest getting the opposite sex of what you currently have.
I had Lulu's brother over the other night and the other yorkie that is in his house so I had four yorkies all togehter and started itching to maybe get another or maybe another two. My husband saw me watching them play and saw immediately what was on my mind.
