Tucker is 6 months old at the end of this month and I am working on transitioning him to two meals a day instead of three - 5:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. He used to get a full lunch, but now I figure out his needs for the day and pull just a little bit aside for a snack at lunch. I will usually tuck those bits of kibbles in a treat toy so he has to linger over it for awhile. Tucker loves to eat and inhales his food. I am amazed at how quickly he can polish off his meal! Tucker is not a tiny yorkie (right at 5 lbs) and has never shown any signs of low blood sugar so I'm not real worried about 2 meals. If he shows any signs of trouble, we'll go back to three.
