WELCOME!! RBI is a cutie and yes human flesh is highly desirable to their diet when young!! Even now Gizzie (nearly 6 months) gets a bit rough with the teeth especially my FEET which for some reason she doesn't associate aas belonging to me!! OUCH!! Whe she's nice, I call her "Kissy Gizzie," then there's an inbetween "Nibbly Gizzie" then there's "Bitey Gizzie" or "Jaws" - these names are said in different ways to her and she picks up on the tone of my voice and modifies her behaviour!! At first when she bit I used to use the method of holding her by the scruff, firmly and growling - this is what the mother dog may do!! LOL Well it worked and as Bettye said, as they mature they become more gentle but DO need guidance!! He must give you loads of pleasure mixed with the pain LOL!!! |
