Animal Smiley 019 Hairballs??

Do yorkies get hair balls?

Olivia sounds like a cat when they have a hair ball, minus the violent hacking. It just sounds like she's trying to get something out of her system. It usually just happens in the morning. She coughed the first couple of days we had her home and then it stopped, and she started up again yesterday and today. I mentioned something to the vet during her well visit and he didn't seemed concerned. I originally thought it could be kennel cough, but since the vet did nothing and it stopped, I ruled it out. I gave her some Nutristat yesterday and today to kind of "grease" her throat, and it seemed to help. Could it be because she was barking a lot yesterday while playing? (She gets mad when other animals- mainly cats- don't play with her, and barks her little head off!)

What do you guys think? She has an appointment on the 25th for her last set of shots. Is this anything I should mention to the vet before her next appointment?
