Hi all!!
Just a little about me: I am proudly owned by a 5 year old Yorkie named, Harley. He has shown me just how wonderful this breed is....spunky, fun, smart, sweet! I am a 34 year old mommy of 2 and wife of one awesome man.
I am new to the Yorkie Talk board and I have enjoyed reading and learning more about this INCREDIBLE breed! Not too long ago, I had decided that I would truly love to breed Yorkies. It is not something that will happen for awhile....I want to learn learn learn whatever I can before I begin. I want to know that I am starting with excellent dogs because I want to always be known as someone that is completely reputable!!!!!!! My husband is my biggest supporter and he is all for me fulfilling my dream of raising this wonderful breed.
I know that it will take time to learn what I will need to know and then there will be other things that I will have to learn as I go. What I would like to know is how I would go about getting a mentor. I do not want to venture out doing something so large as this without having a mentor. Like I said, I am in no hurry to start breeding....I need to know more before I begin. I want to raise Parti colored Yorkies and would love to show one day (I know they are not accepted in the show ring yet).
