I agree with you to a certain extent and I don't take Jaden or Jewelina anywhere where it is posted that they are not allowed or obvious places like emergency rooms, medical care, etc. However, most stores around here value my business enough and know how well kept my dogs are that I've never had a problem or been asked to leave anywhere yet (knock on wood). My dogs where shoes except at bed time, get cleaned everytime they go potty, their teeth get brushed twice a day, they get bathed from every 3-5 days, almost always have clothes on, eye gunk is cleaned off, and their coats are brushed and meticulously groomed.
I know for a fact neither of my dogs carry any diseases as I have had both of them tested by my vet. They also do not carry any animal dander because of how often they are bathed and groomed and the quality of the products that are used on them. My sister has severe allergies and I have had both Jaden and Jewelina tested for Pet dander before going to visit her and the results were negative. As to their paws, they are cleaner than any restaurants table, I'd feel more comfortable letting my 6 month old niece eat off of them than half of the public restaurants.
So while I do understand your point, and I agree that if there are stated rules that should be kept but I wouldn't say that all animals have diseases and problems. That is a pretty broad statement... Maybe some do carry diseases and dander but mine do not and I am sure many others do not either.
