You definately wouldnt have to worm her everyday or even every month if she is not going outside. What is the name of the wormer? & what doesage are you giving her, how much does she weigh & how often were you told to give it too her.
Generally if my dog has been on the ground or had contact with another dog (or I see or suspect worms) I will wormer her then again 7 days later to kill larvae that might have hatched. Wormings can be hard on their intestines so you should give some yogurt a hour after to help replinish good bacteria. Think about the dosage very carefully.
Report the behavior w/your vet or the company on the vac batch & wormer just incase. Sounds like she had a reaction to something but not sure what? I'm glad she got better. You might keep some generic childrens benedryl in the cabinet, if that swelling could have completely stopped her breathing. I wouldnt give hermore until consulting the vet, He could have gave you the wrong meds.
