Well, I would give it a go! I am not one to crate, just never have, but both are fully 100% trustworthy to free roam the entire house and not a problem but they are both much older than Gypsy. So give it a go!!!! As long as you are certain that she will not bother anything that is dangerous in the free roaming areas..........that would be my only concern. Any accidents can be cleaned up but sounds like she has the pee pad training idea already established enough that accidents will not happen.
