You can check out the food here:
www.naturesvariety.com I buy the beef flavored frozen, raw medallions...they're shaped like a small burger. I buy a box of the cheapo snack sized plastic bags and each night I put 2 medallions in a bag...I use 2 bags for a total of 4 medallions because I have 2 to feed. I put the baggies in the fridge and they're thawed out for breakfast and dinner for the next day. After I feed them their dinner I put 2 new bags with the next days' medallions in them and put them in the fridge so they'll be ready. You can also thaw them in the microwave but that's not a good idea...they should be cold to the touch when fed. I bought the small Corelle berry bowls to feed them in...I break up each medallion with 2 forks so it's in small, bite sized pieces and so I can check for large pieces of bone. That's rare to find but I have taken out a couple that I didn't think were safe...but...I'm overly paranoid! It's really an easy routine to get into and I do feel better knowing I'm feeding the boyz a great food that they absolutely love. There are different flavors and each bag has from 40 to 42 medallions in it...that lasts 2 weeks for 2 small dogs. I don't know if this food is priced the same everywhere but it's $13.99 a bag where I shop. Yes, it does cost a bit more to feed this food but I feel it's worth it.
