My 15 1/2 year old daughter LOVES purses (and shoes and clothes). When we're in the mall, she always stops to look at purses in Dillards and any other store she can find them in. She always comments . . . "see, this one Cooper could fit into." She did the same thing at PetSmart yesterday -- went look at the new carriers.
The only difference in my teen is that I'm requiring her to be responsible for Cooper -- even though its summer! No sleeping late -- get up when Cooper needs to go potty. Cleaning up behind him . . . bathing him, etc. I've even denied requests to sleep out so that she can be home for her dog to sleep with her instead of me.
I'm sure that isn't the norm though . . . most parents allow the teens to do whatever they want and not be responsible.
I can't imagine teens/young adults at a rave with their "accessory." The pup probably wouldn't survive the night because of exposure to alcohol or being stepped on. UGHHHHHH . . . .
