When mine are being picked up I make sure the come with ample time for me to give their new owners a grooming lesson. They have their bath, ears cleaned, nails clipped, etc...we go over the whole process. We usually spend a couple of hours together, going over grooming, feeding, shots, vet checks. |
I agree, I think that if I paid that much money that she should have been clean, and I know it can happen to anyone, but the fact that she had fleas also bothered me.
