Just wanted to share that I just had a fantastic evening with friends in support of the MS society (Multiple Sclerosis). The idea is that everyone around the world hold a dinner party this weekend, and instead of wine or flowers, all your guests bring a donation towards the MS society. I have such generous friends that I raised $275 for the MS Society with only 4 guests!!! I would have invited more but I have a small apartment and my table can only can seat 6!
I took the day off work and baked and cooked like a madwoman. I made homemade dinner rolls, salad (mixed greens with dried cranberries, cheddar, apple and walnuts with rasperry vinaigrette), prime rib roast beef, real gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, maple dill carrots, and creme caramel for dessert. Wow I'm tired from all that.
But we had a great time! The wine was flowing and we were laughing our fool heads off and in the end it was all for a good cause.
I feel good right now.
