) I live in Bristol in the UK which I hate, its always cold here I need to be with heat, I want to emigrate somewhere warm, possibly Australia or New Zealand, also I love Florida (sorry only place in the US I have been!) I think that would be a lovely place to live!
Im kind of in limbo at the moment, I have just finished my degree in Chemistry and I have no idea what I want to do so I am doing extra hours at my part time job where I have been for 5 1/2 years, I work as a returns desk operator in a DIY store called B&Q, kinda like Home Depot in the UK (yes we wear orange aprons!)
I have a fiancee called Joe, we have been together nearly 5 years and engaged for about 6 months. We go to Austria quite a lot and we went last September. Behind the hotel we usually stay in is a hill infront of a huge mountain and the hill has a tiny beautiful church on top. Every year we do the trip up to the church and light a candle then look at the view from the top. Well last year as we were looking at the view he gets down on one knee and proposes! Yay! Thats my Joe, soooooo romantic!
He also lives in Bristol, though right out in the country, he has 5 horses and about a billion chickens! He also works in the tropical house in the centre of Bristol so deals with exotic plants and lots of animals. He is going to Gutamala in August to do some research in to rare orchids and their mechanisms for reproduction as apparently its really complicated-Ive not got a clue!
I LOVE ALL animals and I cant imagine my life without them. As well as Joe's zoo, I have the Lucy, 2 budgies (small birds) 2 guinea pigs and a tortoise. I used to work at a riding stables and schooled a lot of horses which is a passion I have. I also got to look after a load of other animals incl goats, sheep, pigs, cows, chickens, geese, ducks and chipmunks. Once I left the stables, I worked for the RSPCA in Bristol for a while. I mostly worked with the small animals, but as a voulenteer I got to help with things like microchipping dogs and cats, baths and dog walking. I really loved it but had to give it up when exams came around. When I get a job and sort out a house etc then I hope to go back. For some reason animals just affect me more than people do.
I love to dance all styles, I did 16 years of ballet but my faves are contempary and as a ballroom dance, salasa, although Joe has 2 left feet so that was fun trying to get him to salsa! I suppose though that the 1 thing anyone needs to know about me is that I love my Lucy. I would seriously do anything for her and I miss her whenever I am away from her. She is my angel
