was this her first litter? Just wondering, I know alot of us are thinking about breeding our little girls but....I am the type that prefers to learn from others mistakes and though we are here for support for you & your baby we also want to take a valuable lesson from it. Did the vet say why she may have been more prone to get this infection, I know you said there was a rotted pup in her & then you had seen she may have had one in the yard that was frozen. Do you own your stud? I have heard of females being studded several times during heat making the pups different ages & some rotting becaus ethey were in to long, others not quiet ready to be born...I hope you dont mind me asking, I just like to know how we can protect our girls from this. I am sorry we have to learn thru yours. |
