There is historical evidence that sleeping with pets is not necessarily aberrant behavior.

*whew!* (YTers sigh a collective relief!)

Aren't we glad to learn we're "not necessarily" aberrant? LOL My DH, too, was adamant that Abigail would not sleep with us. He was so concerned that we would roll over and squish her. She could fall asleep with me if I went to bed first, but then he always returned her to her own bed when he came in. Well, that lasted a few months. Now, she sleeps in the crook of my knees or at my tummy. And she's really good about feeling when I move and getting out of the way - most times. Usually, though, it's me being aware of her and scooching her over in my half-awake daze!
It seems I'll be having surgery in March, and I gotta tell ya - one of my hospital concerns is I don't think I'll be able to sleep in a bed all to myself!
