I think I cut Brandy's hair the first time about 7 or 8 months. I've never let her hair get longer than maybe 3 inches. She's kinda wavy so she just seems to get bushy and messy looking so no drop coat for her. I got Titan at 9 months old and he already had straight long hair (maybe 6-7 inches) and I've never cut his hair other than sanitary areas, around feet, and just tidy up the ends a bit. How long you wait before cutting hair may depend on your dogs coat. Just don't wait if you find he is getting matted. |
Thanks he does seem to be getting matted close to the skin. I brush him but it doesnt seem to help. I think I need to get a new brush.
