Thanks to all who have replied. I do appreciate your input. It isnt really that hard to keep them separate. They are all crate trained so have separate sleeping quarters and a gate between the puppy room and the next room. I am fortunate that since I own my business I always take some of my dogs to work with me everyday anyway. I usually rotate and take different ones but when I have one in heat she gets to go everywhere I go and her feet dont touch the ground unless I have her at work and the male at home or vice versa. They love the extra attention and I enjoy it too.
