I'm not a breeder so what I'm adding to this is just my opinion. I don't think that there is anything wrong with wanting to breed. Everyone started somewhere with a female, and I'm sure if they lost all their females there wouldn't be any puppies to be had. Things can go wrong, there is not doubt, but that's where you have to be responsible and be prepared for anything. Have a vet on hand and if need be, c-sections. Mother's health comes first. Read up on everything and get familiar with the process, so if something comes up you will be ready for it. I would love to have puppies one day, but since I have all boys, I don't think that's going to happen any time soon Good luck with whatever you decide to do, you have time to change your mind lots of times...
