If that's the case, they would not have given the money to anyone else. Can PayPal just go into your bank account and withdraw money? This seems strange to me. Although I have heard some bad things about PayPal recently. Has anyone ever had that happen? |
Well, I have never had a dispute opened against me, so I am not sure how that works, but when I pay with paypal, I have paypal backed up with my checking account...when I buy something or I send money to someone via paypal, if there isn't enough in paypal then paypal withdraws the funds from my checking BUT they only do it when I authorize...they don't just dip into my checking account whenever they want to....so I am assuming that since paypal found the Kristy owed you the money then they tried to refund it and the money was drawn from her checking account because she probably has her paypal set up with her checking account as her back up funding.
I haven't had anything but good experience with paypal.
