I had cingular maybe a year after they merged up because I was still under contract. The service was horrible here in NY and I got so many dropped calls. I also didn't like the price change from my att package to the cingular one. I went with TMobile and haven't regretted it. I have three lines that share a package with unlimited nights, weekends and it is costing me way less than the same package from Cingular. Cingular has way too many areas that are considered out of network unless you take the nationwide plan. So for me that sucked. I went to FL last year and didn't realize it and then when I got home on my bill I had to pay an additional $90 in roaming charges.
