I am not sure who you were referring to when you referred to joining to "voice displeasure". Just to clarify, I chose Shadow Creek because this forum gave it good reviews. The reason that I joined was to forewarn others who might have considered buying a puppy from them. In addition, I DID, in fact, do my homework. When I was told that the puppy had a "fungus", I called the breeder's vet to discuss further - at which time, I was told that the fungus was NOT contagious and that I wouldn't be putting my son in jeopardy of getting it. Evidently, I did not speak with the vet in the practice who actually saw my puppy. The one that I did speak with, told me that all I needed to do was to put cream on the spot and it would be gone in a matter of a few weeks. Finally, after months of treating the ringworm to no avail, I spoke with the attending vet. He apologized for clearing the puppy because the breeder definitely knew that it was ringworm and that it was contagious. He has reimbursed me for part of the vet expenses (a very small part).
