My Otis has never been to a pro groomer. I've heard too many stories. A very nice woman from yorkie talk offered to have her mobile groomer do my Otis, but she lived in another state. It was a very nice offer but I still thought I could manage. I've tried calm, soothing talk and mood. I even bought a grooming table arm. He tries to climb up me when he's on the table. I've never nipped him while trimming him, I don't understand his terror. It's usually a day long process because we take breaks. I just can't get him to relax. When he hears the shears cutting the hair, he frieks! Does anyone have any helpful hints, tips, or know of a mobile groomer that they trust. I live in Plainfield, IN. The westside of Indpls. I'm getting desperate. I know I shouldn't be so protective, but the stories I've heard are terrifying. I've also witnessed several things while observing the groomers at petsmart that I find unacceptable. HELP!
