You really should not be using the Salmon Oil AND Missing Link at the same time. You should pick one or the other.
Second, what food are you feeding her? If it contains corn, wheat, soy, beef, dairy, barley, or rye, you need to switch foods. I suggest Canidae All Life Stages or Life's Abundance. Those are the only 2 foods I have found that do not contain any of these problematic ingredients.
Thirdly, how often are you bathing her? If her skin is really that dry, she should only be getting a bath every 2 weeks...waiting longer will only help, but I would NOT give her a bath more often than every 2 weeks.
Use an Oatmeal Shampoo. Try spraying some Emu Oil on her skin after a bath and try letting her air dry rather than blow dry. Put a towel in the dryer and wrap her up in that after a bath until she is dry so she doesn't catch cold.
Lastly, you need to brush her everyday, at least once a day. Brushing stimulates the oil glands in her skin and will help with the dry skin. |
