I wanted to switch to Revolution instead of using both a heartworm med and the flea and tick med. But I was just at the vet yesterday and he told me he does not recommend Revolution for dogs. Cats yes, but he said it does not work for dogs intestinal worms. He recommends Sentinel or Interceptor + Advantage or Frontline Plus. He said the Heartguard Plus was okay too but the Sentinel and Interceptor had the added benefit of protecting against Whipworms, even though they were not prevalent.
So.... I am continuing on the Heartguard Plus + Frontline Plus until I use the rest of the Heartguard ... then I am switching to Sentinel + the Frontline Plus.
